Everyone says that we know, and it’s an easy click bait to get people to read more. But we are very different in our approach to what we do here with our amazing Thrive Tribe.
We have our 4 Pillars which when implemented well and in the right order will indeed have you experience the ease and joy of Thriving in your life.
Now this might sound weird for a gym, but for us it’s not about the exercise, and it never has been. Yes it is a tool we use but it is just one of many that need to work together for the best outcomes.
This is our first and most critical step in the journey, and for many people the hardest. We are all products of our lived experiences, programming and a whole bunch of limiting self belief. Our goal is to set you up to changing some of those patterns and programs and have you focusing on new patterns and habits, and stronger internal belief systems. If you don’t believe you’re worth it, or worthy or even capable then none of the other stuff matters, because you will just continue into the self fulfilling prophecy of not achieving. That is absolutely not what we want for you. We want to show you, guide you and teach you self compassion, goal setting, mindfulness and help develop your self worth. When that is in place everything else becomes easier.
Our second step and almost as important as the first. As humans we all want to belong. To fit in, to be seen and heard. And no great achievements in history were ever done solo, even Edmund Hillary needed help to get to the top of Everest. Being part of a positive, supportive tribe, a Thrive Tribe if you will, allows you to have a safe space to pursue your goals. To be challenged and pushed, but also celebrated and recognised. It is far easier to turn up and do the hard things when you are surrounded by others. It is also particularly important at the start of the journey when your goals feel insurmountable, that you are surrounded with those who have walked that path already, so you SEE it can be done.
Food, glorious food. For some of us it can be a roller coaster relationship where we punish ourselves for being bad or reward ourselves with treats. We aren’t labradors!! We help our tribe develop a healthy, balanced relationship with food and nutrition. No depravation or denial, no guilt, shame or blame here. Just knowledge, support, understanding and accountability. When you believe in yourself and your worth, and you are surrounded by souls who believe in you, then having a positive relationship with food is much easier.
Now you’d think being a gym this should be first. And yes you will get to do some movement to start but we aren’t just throwing you in the helter skelter of a packed group class to fend for yourself. We develop a prescription that is specific to your needs and goals and comfort. It might be 1:1 PT or some speciality programming, even Yoga. Yes we offer group classes but they aren’t just the default one size fits all. We have the knowledge, skills and space to be able to customise a solution for you, and then adjust it as you progress. Our goal isn’t to rush you into crushing your soul, and everything is designed to set you up for success and yep Thriving. And we have a network of allied health professionals to help you fix any of those old issues as well.
This is where you feel like your life is in balance, you are happy, confident, making progress and here is the big one….liking yourself a whole lot more. Not being afraid to look in the mirror or be naked with a partner or self conscious. A state where you are empowered and proud of yourself, and know your worth. Through this your relationships will improve not only with others but also yourself. Imagine feeling like that day on day!!
Our focus and solution is a little different to most, in fact very different. But you’re worth it and you deserve this life.
